Currently a partner at Shands, Elbert, Gianoulakis, & Giljum LLP, Tom Durphy has practiced law in the business and real estate field for over 20 years and works with clients across the Midwest. He earned his law degree in 2001 from St. Louis University’s School of Law, and focuses on the areas of business, real estate, litigation, and educational law.
Tom is an active member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, and the American Bar Association. He has published articles and made presentations for the Knowledge is Power Program in St. Louis, the Missouri Public Charter Schools Association, and the Missouri School Boards Association, and is a regular panelist for the Mastermind Project.
Tom’s approach is centered on solving the client’s problem through a positive client experience. By focusing on educating the client about their available options, creating a 2-way dialogue throughout the process, and working together to find a solution, he ensures full transparency and buy-in.
